Christian Ponder Confirms That He Is Dating Samantha Steele

Christian Ponder is getting plenty of “atta boys” today after it was confirmed that he is indeed dating fetching ESPN personality Samantha Steele. Ponder himself made the confirmation from the locker room at Winter Park. Apparently there was something of a media frenzy after word leaked out that Ponder and Steele are an item. Rather than shy away from the situation, Ponder took the matter in hand and gave the media what it wanted.

The ever-personable Ponder actually had some fun with the story. “I’m proud of the relationship,” Ponder said. “I can brag. I’ve got bragging rights, I believe.” Ponder’s teammates are also having fun with it. They’ve apparently taken to calling the QB “Mr. Steele.” To which Ponder replied, “Christian Steele is kind of a sweet name, don’t you think?”

I wonder if Samantha gives Christian any coaching. She’s got pretty good throwing form. She might be able to help him with his footwork problems.

This is very cute. I like that there’s a cute, wholesome story involving a Viking quarterback and the lady who caught his eye. Cause sometimes it goes the other way. Sometimes text messages and dong shots and lawyers get involved. Not naming names.
