As we count down to Sunday’s big showdown game let’s get caught up on the status of a couple key players. First off, Vikings receiver Percy Harvin. I wish I had something good to report about Harvin but unfortunately I don’t. He still wasn’t able to get on the practice field on Friday. He reportedly stretched with the team then went back inside for treatment rather than participate in drills. He was still limping around according to reporters. His status for Sunday is doubtful but I think you can probably just list him as out. No practice at all this week, still limping around on Friday. He’s not playing.

The news is better for Jay Cutler. Better from a Bears perspective but not necessarily a Vikings perspective. Cutler is still only listed as questionable for Sunday but he has practiced all week and is close to being cleared for the game. He reportedly has only one concussion test to pass in order to be given the green light. So by all indications, Cutler will take the field Sunday and Harvin will not. Advantage Bears.

Leslie Frazier also commented Friday on the status of Michael Jenkins and Letroy Guion. Both are expected to play. Jenkins is dealing with a foot injury and Guion is battling turf toe.
