Preview

The Vikings cling to slim playoff hopes as they travel to St. Louis to face the Rams. Christian Ponder gets one more chance to prove his doubters wrong in a tough road environment. Meanwhile, Adrian Peterson continues his quest to crack the 2,000 yard mark. Peterson needs 400 yards in his final three games to achieve that vaunted milestone.

After a tough stretch of games, the Vikings defense rebounded last weekend against the Bears. The defensive line hopes to be disruptive against Sam Bradford and the Rams. The Vikings will need to shore up their tackling issues if they hope to deal with running back Steven Jackson who may be playing his final home game in St. Louis. The turnover battle will be key for the Vikes. Last week vs. the Bears they had two interceptions, returning one for a TD.
