Friday means it’s time for quick status updates. First off, Brian Robison. The defensive end suffered a shoulder sprain early against the Rams and had to leave. As of now he is listed as questionable for Sunday against Houston. Leslie Frazier says they will talk to Robison on Saturday and see where he is. That’s when they’ll make a decision on his final status for Sunday. If Robison can’t go, Everson Griffen will get the start at left defensive end.

Another defensive player update. Chris Cook has been battling back from a broken arm and is now ready to come off IR. The Vikes say he will play on Sunday but likely will only see nickel duty. His conditioning is just not where it needs to be for him to start and play the whole game at his traditional outside cornerback position. But it will still be huge having Cook out there in any capacity, even if it’s only in certain packages. We should see him back at full strength for the finale against Green Bay. And we know how huge that game could be. It could be for the playoffs.

(Update: New reports saying Cook will start but see limited reps with A.J. Jefferson coming in for him.)
