Looking forward to the draft even though the Vikings are still playing? Well the guys at Fansided.com did their weekly mock and it’s my solemn duty to report on their guess for the Vikings. Here’s who the mockers have mocked to the Vikes in their latest mock:

"22. Minnesota Vikings – Kenny Vaccaro, Safety, TexasThe Vikings play in a division with Aaron Rodgers, Matt Stafford and Jay Cutler. Needless to say, they need all the help they can get in the secondary. Adding a defensive back like Vaccaro would help the Vikings against the pass and can you imagine a Vaccaro – Harrison Smith duo for years to come?"

Safety is a big need for sure. Anything that adds to the defensive talent base and gives Alan Williams more flexibility is fine with me. Anything that gets Mistral Raymond off the field is even more fine with me. What a terrible game Raymond had against Green Bay. He’s a big liability back there. That said, no way the Vikes take anything other than the best receiver available. This is an easy one for them. Percy Harvin will be gone and they will need to upgrade the receiver talent. And they won’t lay out big cash for a wide receiver. Rick Spielman has fiscal discipline.
