The final Friday injury report has just come across the wire (actually Tom Pelissero just broke it inside a live chat; gotta love the internets). The two main guys all Viking fans are wondering about are both listed as questionable. Antoine Winfield and Christian Ponder. Winfield says he’s going to play despite a broken hand, with help from a new hard cast. Ponder’s situation is a little more worrisome. His elbow has bothered him all week and he hasn’t gotten to practice much. It’s expected he will play but you have to wonder how much the elbow bruising will limit him. He doesn’t exactly have a cannon to begin with.

Only guy listed as out for Minnesota is Tyrone McKenzie who busted himself up on special teams against Green Bay. McKenzie was one of the team’s better coverage tacklers this year so this could be a blow. Randall Cobb may get back there on returns or the Packers could stick with Jeremy Cobb. Either way, the Vikes will have to clean up some of their coverage issues. They gave up a long kick return and a long punt return last week. Can’t have that crap.

Lots to worry about in the last hours leading up to the game. Nervous  yet?
