There are multiple reasons to be depressed by this play. You don’t really see it well in this particular GIF but Nelson seemed to push off on A.J. Jefferson. But whatever. If our guys were good enough to do that stuff and get away with it, we’d love them for it. That non-call is not what’s really depressing. What’s really depressing is that Aaron Rodgers is just that good. He can roll out and throw a dart to a guy on the sideline like that. I don’t think we really appreciate how hard that throw is. That is a sick throw. This was in the two minute drill at the end of the half when the Vikings were still only down 10-3. And this play was in many ways the dagger. This one really did them in.
