Adrian Peterson Would Be “Uncomfortable” Showering With a Gay Teammate

Adrian Peterson has made known his feelings about gay marriage. He is “not with it.” But he’s made it clear that he is cool with gay people in general. As long as he doesn’t have to shower with them.

Wait, what? Yeah Adrian went there. In a new interview with the Oklahoman, the Vikings running back went into more depth concerning his thoughts about homosexuals. Why? I don’t know. But here’s what he said about having a gay teammate.

Simple things, as far as showers and things like that, you know, of course, anyone would be uncomfortable. But you know, I’m a grown man. There’s things that I can deal with. I’m comfortable in my skin.

I’m a little confused here. Is Adrian concerned that his gay teammate might be checking him out in the shower? I hate to break the news to Adrian but straight dudes check each other out in the shower. Checking out happens all the time. Life is a big orgy of checking out.

Why should a gay guy checking you out make you more uncomfortable than a straight guy checking you out? Is AD worried that it might progress beyond checking out? Is he concerned he might drop the soap and…

Okay we’re getting a little graphic here. Anyway there is sure to be a bit of backlash against Peterson after these somewhat weird remarks. You have to wonder why he keeps making the remarks. It’s almost like he doesn’t know when to shut up.

But it’s all a media creation anyway, right? The media are blowing the whole thing out of proportion. It’s the media’s fault Adrian keeps answering these questions.

Hey, it’s his personal opinion. God bless him. But the shower thing sounds moronic. Sorry it just does.

So, by this article’s logic I should just cruise on in to the women’s locker room, and my defense after being arrested can be “Hey, girls check each other out, too!”
AP is being honest and reasonable instead of tripping all over himself to be PC as Dan Zinski appears to be doing. Go AP.

  • Jake

As usual Dan you’ve proven once again that you’re a moron. Riz is right, by your logic women should be completely comfortable showering with men because women check each other out in the shower so what’s the difference? You’re a dumbass. AP is perfectly entitled to voice his opinion on this matter and just because he doesn’t seem to agree with the liberal media’s “Gay is Great” agenda doesn’t mean he is wrong. I’m sure many, many players have the same concerns about showering with an openly gay teammate.

Stop writing these worthless articles. Stand up to your editor and tell them this is a waste of words. Trying to brew controversy where there is none.

  • Billy Schwandt

Find something worth reading about to wright!!!! Like on football!!!!

  • Jay Haskins

Hey, it’s his personal opinion. God bless him. But the shower thing sounds moronic. Sorry it just does.
No you’re the moron. A gay man is ATTRACTED to another man, ESPECIALLY in the shower! For you to not understand the dynamcs of what AP is talking about means you must be gay. That’s ok, to each his own. But it also means you don’t have a friggin clue

    • Allen Rilsund

Dan, your Gay, and you know it! So stop looking at me in the Shower!!!

    • Norman Dostal

Jay-you’re imbecilic-most gay men dont want straight men-they are TERRIFIED to check out straight men in the shower-are you saying this because youre gay (what does especially in the shower even mean?)?-and most straight guys are fat and unattractive anyway…would you be ok if a gay player said he’s worried about black players stealing from him because blacks steal more than other groups?

      • Norman Dostal

the funniest part of all of this is that very few gay men are attracted to black men-statistically, even black gay men prefer gay white men so Adrian wouldn’t even be looked at, at all!!

        • Jake

Everything you’re saying seems to come from your own opinions and your own experience. You’re trying to speak for an entire social group and you’re failing. You’re also generalizing entire populations by saying most straight men are fat and most gays prefer whites. You’re a dumbass and you do not speak for everyone.

  • Norman Dostal

this is cool-most gay players woudldbe ok with a black player-maybe not totally comfortable leaving their wallets out because blacks steal more than other groups, but theyd be cool

    • Jake

      And you’re a racist, congratulations.

      • jordan nadel

        Lol…some people man, wow….smh

  • jordan nadel

I write for this site, but this is obviously just an effort to get in the good graces of the thoughtless PC media, how is wat he said “moronic” but the views expressed in this are that of “the enlightened” ??? i guarantee 95% of people who read this have dismissed it as laughable, the other 5% would say the sky was purple if that was wat they were told was the “correct” thing to say, and thats the truth, sorry, it just is…Jordan Nadel

    • Jake

Since you write for the site maybe you can do something about Dan’s shitty writing. It’s not just this article. Most everything he writes about has nothing to with football and when he does talk football he’s usually way off base. The site would be better without him.
