The Vikings’ initial depth chart of the preseason looks exactly how you would expect a first depth chart to look. Veterans at the top, younger players at the bottom. This is all part of the Leslie Frazier-mandated farce of making rookies “earn” jobs that everyone knows they already have in the bag. In other words, this depth chart is totally worthless and has nothing to do with anything real. Trust me, Sharrif Floyd is not the third team 3-tech in anybody’s mind. Why teams even bother with this is beyond me.
