The Vikings’ draft plan may include preventing one of the top QB  prospects from working out for any other teams…by inviting him to stay indefinitely at Winter Park.

I don’t know for sure but I think that’s what is happening with Teddy Bridgewater. I think the Vikings may be trying to stash him at their HQ until after the draft.

Ian Rapoport reports that Bridgewater, who worked out for the team this weekend – Teddy’s old Louisville teammate was nice enough to Instagram a pic from the workout – was still at the facility as of Tuesday for an “extended look.”

Either the Vikings are putting up the most over-zealous smokescreen of all time or they are really really looking hard at Bridgewater.

If the Vikings like Bridgewater but have lingering doubts about him, it makes sense that they would have him around for an extended stay. It could be that they are trying to convince themselves.

Or perhaps, like I suggested, the plan is to not let Bridgewater leave Winter Park, so no one else can work him out. If no one sees Teddy for a few days, assume Rick Spielman has him chained to a radiator some place.

Obviously I’m kidding. Bridgewater has to leave sometime, right? There’s a rule against chaining prospects to radiators, I believe.
