I normally try to avoid ever standing up for the Jim Harbaugh-led San Francisco 49ers and that whole operation they’re running out there, but this time I have no choice.
Another franchise in the NFL has actually gone more low-rent than the 49ers. I didn’t think it was possible, but the Packers have actually sunk lower than San Fran.
I really can’t see what is gained by this, but the Packers Twitter put out this blatant cheap shot at the 49ers and their troubled linebacker Aldon Smith.
Here’s the link to the tweet (I’m sure it will soon be taken down). Here is a screenshot of the cheap shot.
Just know Packers that we have the screenshot, so you won’t be able to back pedal from your absurd blast.
I mean really Packers. Hitting out at a man who is having obvious personal problems, possibly related to mental illness?
Just to make a point about what a marvelous high character organization you think you have?
Sure Packers. Just gloss over the whole Johnny Jolly thing. Gloss over Mark Chmura. Gloss over every other example of a Packer player past or present doing something that got him in trouble with the law.
I would expect that kind of cheap shot from a blogger like me, or some random jerk fan on Twitter, but the official team Twitter account?
Wow Packers. What a load of bullcrap. Whoever posted that should apologize right now and then be fired.
You cheeseheads are just the worst.
