The 2016 NFL Draft is a little over a week away and there have already been two blockbuster trades to shake up the draft order. With all eyes shifting to Thursday, April 28, 2016 for the first day of the draft, fans are wondering who the college stars are that will be joining their franchise after the big event.

As fans often tune into the NFL Draft like mad to hear commissioner Roger Goodell announce the picks live on stations like NFL Network and ESPN, part of the fun is trying to guess what name will be called or root for a specific prospect to fall to their favorite team.

Before the draft, it’s always interesting to try to guess what players will be going to which teams. Experts like Todd McShay, Mel Kiper, Rob Rang, Dane Brugler and others always release mock drafts, to lead up to the event and help get fans talking about each prospect’s fit for each NFL team.

For The Viking Age, I’ve decided to put together a full first round mock draft. Keep in mind, these are my opinions and my ideas for each team, and you may not necessarily agree with them.
