Let’s take a look at the Minnesota Vikings game against the Bears from the eyes Bear Goggles On at FanSided who is very familiar with Chicago’s NFL team.

The Bears have been a thorn in the side of the Minnesota Vikings for several years. With the exception of last year’s sweep of Chicago, winning on the road as Soldier Field has been a real challenge

Minnesota will attempt to repeat their success on Monday Night Football on October 31, 2016. However, the team is coming off their only loss of the season and are hoping to get back on track. Meanwhile, the Bears are struggling to get in the endzone and win games, having only one victory so far.

To get an inside perspective on this week’s opponents, we have reached out to FanSided’s Bear Goggles On, where site expert Mike Burzawa took some time to answer 5 questions for The Viking Age.

Here are his replies:

1. The Bears are average in most statistical categories but find themselves with only 1 win to this point. What is happening for Chicago not to finish games?

"“The Bears have struggled in the red zone, so despite piling up some yardage, they haven’t been cashing in on offense.  Whether it’s been injuries, penalties or just plain missing field goals, the Bears have left points on the field and frankly, they’re not good enough to make up for it.  The defense has been coming together under Vic Fangio’s guidance, but they’re still a work in progress.   The Bears defense has struggled to get off the field on third down, extending opponent drives.”"
