With the Minnesota Vikings' 53-man roster now revealed, a clear picture has been painted of how Kevin O'Connell and new GM Nolan Teasley plan to take this team to the next level. While the NFC North is seemingly wide open, not everyone is convinced that all the solutions are in the building.
And this team could always surprise us, but with the veteran market picked through at this point, there aren't many avenues left to upgrade the roster. So, just for fun before all the madness starts next weekend, let's entertain a hypothetical scenario.

Alan Page - DT
Page was born in Canton, Ohio, and found his way back there for a reason. The perennial Pro Bowler and All-Pro who helped anchor the Purple People Eaters would be an amazing addition for an interior defensive front that needs a big-time player. Between his pass-rush ability, run-stopping prowess, and knack for big plays, Page would help Brian Flores' defense reach another level entirely.
Carl Eller - DL
Another Purple People Eater, imagine that! The franchise's all-time sack leader would be returning at a time when Minnesota badly needs help getting after the quarterback, and the massive defensive end could play in any era. Just imagine what he could do in a modern, pressure-heavy defense like the one that Flores has the current Vikings running. He would be another huge addition up front.

Frank Tarkenton - QB
Tarkenton infamously didn't get the job done in three Super Bowls, but he's easily a step up from Kyler Murray, and he never had a wide receiver like Justin Jefferson to throw to. Dropping him into this offense would be a scary sight for the rest of the league, as Tarkenton was ahead of his time with his dual-threat ability, which would translate well into today's game.

Adrian Peterson - RB
Peterson is arguably the most unstoppable running back in NFL history, and on a team with an aging Aaron Jones and a merely solid Jordan Mason, Peterson would change the complexion in Minnesota entirely.
With him alongside Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Jauan Jennings, almost no quarterback could mess this up, and with a very good defense, the Vikings could hoist a Lombardi Trophy.
