The trash talking continues between Greg Jennings and his former Packers teammates. Jennings as we know has taken multiple jabs at the Packers and QB Aaron Rodgers. Saying he would take Brett Favre over Rodgers. Calling Rodgers “that guy they have there now.” Stuff like that. Harmless crap.

Rodgers for some reason has mostly stayed above the fray on this. But Rodgers’ teammates? They’re willing to come out and fire back. A.J. Hawk has taken the best shot at Jennings so far. In an interview – video here – Hawk said he can’t wait to get after Jennings on the field. “I can’t wait for Greg to come across the middle,” Hawk told a reporter at a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe.

“Greg knows I’ve joked around with him about it.  It’s going to be fun,” Hawk went on. “I finally get to tackle Greg.  I (got) to mess with him in practice and punch at him and jab at him at different times, and now we actually get to hit him.  Greg’s a physical guy, so I think he’s going to try to bring it to me as well.”

Sounds to me like mere good-natured ribbing between former teammates. But of course Packer fans will take it way too seriously. They will cheer wildly the first time Jennings takes a good shot from a Packer defensive player. Cause they want him to get hurt. Cause they are a bunch of bitter no-class a-holes.
