Quarterbacks and wide receivers share a special bond. Each week they take the field of battle together, their pigskin fates inextricably linked. As they struggle and fight toward their mutual goal, that bond only becomes stronger and stronger until they become like blood brothers.

Well, some of the time they become like blood brothers. Other times they end up barely remembering each other.

Randy Moss had plenty of quarterbacks during his career – 20 to be exact – and experienced both ends of the relationship spectrum. He formed special bonds with guys like Randall Cunningham and Daunte Culpepper. And then there were guys like Jay Fiedler and Marques Tuiasosopo.

Just for yuks, the guys at Fox Sports – where Randy Moss now works since he can’t get a job in the NFL – asked Moss to remember all 20 of his quarterbacks and write their names on a whiteboard. It was easy at first, but as Moss got farther down the list, well you can see in the video…

But he remembered Spurgon Wynn! That must make Spurgon feel good, wherever he is now.

Moss is surprised to realize that he played with 20 quarterbacks in his career, starting with Brad Johnson and ending with Colin Kaepernick. I wonder who Moss would consider to be his favorite. Probably Todd Bouman. Those guys had some special chemistry.
