We know Richard Sherman likes to trash talk, but things reached another level last Sunday when Sherman was pitted against the Vikings and receiver Joe Webb. Sherman found himself matched up one-on-one with Webb for much of the second half and let’s just say Richard was not impressed with Webb’s skills.

Thanks to NFL Network’s Sound-FX, we can get a taste of how vicious stuff became between Sherman and Webb. And when I say “between Sherman and Webb” I mean Sherman talking to Webb. It doesn’t seem like Webb had much to say back. What can you say when you’re Joe Webb and the guy shutting you down is one of the NFL’s top corners?

Sherman put on a veritable trash-talking clinic with Webb, yelling at Webb that he “sucks” and telling him “you’re a waste of my time.” At one point Sherman runs out of words and turns to gestures, pantomiming a yawn. Cause Webb puts him to sleep, see? Oh that Richard Sherman. What a comedian.

The Sherman clip reel isn’t all trashing Joe Webb. There’s also some amusing sideline banter between Sherman and Marshawn Lynch where they tease each other about their bad plays, then compare accomplishments. All-in-all it seems Seattle is a pretty loose bunch. Easy to be loose when you’re 10-1.
