There may have been times this year that the fans haven’t had a great time when watching the Vikings, but the team has gone to some pretty great lengths to make sure that the season ends with a party!

The final game in the Metrodome will be honored starting on the day before the game itself.  Saturday will feature a “Last Season, Last Call” event.  This celebration will be for season ticket holders to get on the field and take photos.  They will even have access to the Vikings locker room for photos and tours.

Sadly, the limit for the “Last Season, Last Call” event has been been reached.  There was a maximum capacity of 6,000 for it.

The game itself offers some fun.  Every fan who enters the season finale against the Detroit Lions will get a pennant celebrating the final year at the Metrodome.  As an added bonus, Former Vikings greats Matt Birk, Robert Smith and Bud Grant will be on hand on address the crowd.  Vikings superstar Adrian Peterson will be there as well to speak with those on hand.

Don’t get any ideas about trying to sneak out of there with any of the property from the Metrodome though.  Extra security will be on hand to make sure that things like that won’t happen.

Either way, another Vikings season is about to come to a close.  It may not have been a successful year, but every year there is Minnesota Vikings football is a good year.
