Teddy Bridgewater Throws Out First Pitch At Twins Game
By Adam Carlson
I know you guys are probably sick of my enthusiasm and excitement about Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, but I just can’t help it. I love seeing him involved in everything Minnesota from the sports scene to the community.
Today, Bridgewater was honored by the Minnesota Twins by being invited to throw out the first pitch of their game against the Cleveland Indians. The good thing is that he didn’t embarrass himself by throwing a wild pitch that was all over the place.
Here is a tweet by the Minnesota Vikings with a fantastic photo featuring Teddy Bridgewater on the pitcher’s mound. Here is the tweet with the attached photo:
There is some minor coincidence in the fact that Bridgewater is throwing out the first pitch against Cleveland. There is still a large group of Vikings fans out there that are still irate that Minnesota didn’t select Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel instead. Unless you’ve been living under a rock or have been ignoring all national sports outlets for the last couple months, I’m sure you are aware that Manziel is a member of the Cleveland Browns.
Whether you support Bridgewater or not, you have to admire that he’s willing to take in Minnesota sports. He was seen at the Minnesota Wild games during hockey season and is now taking part in activities Minnesota Twins. And soon, we’ll get to see more of him with the Minnesota Vikings.
At this point, it’s just a matter of time before he does something with the Timberwolves or the Lynx, right?
