2. Shaun Prater
Prater has demonstrated his ability at cornerback throughout preseason, and looks like a solid pick to make the 53-man roster. His prospects for winning a spot are aided by the fact that, in Mike Zimmer’s eyes, Prater also has the ability to play some safety if need be.
Zimmer on Prater: "He’s a tough, feisty kid that can do a lot of jobs...look at him some at safety just because of his temperament."
