4. Matt Asiata
Asiata has one big thing going for him when comparing him to other running backs on the roster: he can play fullback. One can envision Asiata getting work as a receiving fullback in Norv Turner’s offense.
Add in his value as a third-down and short yardage back, and Asiata has a pretty nice package of skills. He’s head-and-shoulders above Joe Banyard in terms of roster value, and that’s why he’s currently an undisputed pick to stick.
