#5:  The Firing Of The Coaching Staff

While it was absolutely obvious that the Minnesota Vikings had to make a change when it came to their coaching staff, the team’s brass took it one step further.  They cleaned house.

Gone were Head Coach Leslie Frazier, Offensive Coordinator Bill Musgrave, and Defensive Coordinator Alan Williams.  The Vikings were left searching for a new direction for their team.  Speculation ran rampant as to who the new head coach would be and who would be chosen to be the team’s new coordinators.  For while, it seemed as though former Offensive Coordinators Jim Caldwell or Jay Gruden would be the man chosen.

Instead, the Minnesota Vikings decided on the fiery Mike Zimmer to be the team’s new Head Coach and added former Head Coach Norv Turner as the Offensive Coordinator and George Edwards to head up the defensive side of the ball.

Time will tell if the Minnesota Vikings have chosen wisely, but for now things look pretty solid on that front.
