Honorable Mention: Candlestick Park

The Vikings were 4-11 all-time at the now-former home of the 49ers, including a 51-7 defeat in 1984, still the worst regular season loss in team history.

Overall the Vikings’ history at the Stick was atrocious but of course there was one amazing highlight, the 1987 playoff victory over the Joe Montana/Bill Walsh-led 49ers team that everyone had pegged for the Super Bowl.

That one amazing victory pushes Candlestick out of the top 5 houses of horror list. But I’m glad it’s gone anyway. Blow that place up.
