This is the first time that a Minnesota Vikings player was nominated for Pepsi Rookie of the Week in the 2014 season.  Considering that both McKinnon and Bridgewater are up for the award, they could split votes among Vikings fans and negate a lot of the popular vote, but either player is definitely worthy of the award.

Good luck to both Teddy Bridgewater and Jerick McKinnon on the voting for Rookie of the Week.
