Minnesota Vikings Week 7 Unmet Expectations Rankings

The Vikings are falling short of expectations after exceeding expectations.

2-2 was better than we thought they would be when the season started, and 2-5 is worse than we thought they would be after they got to 2-2.

However, 2-5 is probably where most thought they would be before they went 2-2.

So have they met expectations or fallen short of expectations or perhaps in some way exceeded expectations?

Some men have met, others have exceeded, some have fallen short. Way short. As of this week…

10. Teddy Bridgewater

Most people expected rookie growing pains and he’s definitely suffered them. But there’s a segment of the fanbase that had this guy lighting it up like Aaron Rodgers right away. These people are idiots and they must be very disappointed.

Outside of the morons who wanted to put Bridgewater in the HoF the second he was drafted, I think most fans are okay with where he’s at right now.

9. Eric Sugarman

What’s with all the injuries, Sug? You sure these guys are stretching enough? Maybe the donuts are adversely affecting them.

8. Mike Zimmer

I really thought this guy would be erupting like Vesuvius by now but he keeps holding it together. What gives?

7. Sharrif Floyd

Keeps doing just enough to not seem like a total bust but never does enough to seem like more than an okay piece of a very inconsistent defensive line unit.

6. Marcus Sherels

Really thought this guy was going to learn from past mistakes and stop doing dumb stuff like call for fair catches on the five. Guess I was wrong.

5. Norv Turner

Where is the deep game Norv? You’re supposed to have this figured out Norv.

4. Captain Munnerlyn

So it turns out this guy is really not very good at all. I wish I had known that earlier. Well, live and learn.

3. Cordarrelle Patterson

Guess what? He’s not the new Percy Harvin. Yet. Maybe he still will be but I’m starting to have my doubts. Right now I would just be happy to see him catch a couple hitches. Also, he needs to stop flipping out every time his rookie QB fails to see him coming open. Stop showing up the kid, Patterson.

2. Phil Loadholt

I don’t want to hear about what a great run blocker he is. Dude is a disaster in pass protection. A disaster.

1. Matt Kalil

You are the worst, Kalil. The absolute worst. What a wasted draft pick. Wow.
