How are Bears fans currently feeling about Jay Cutler?

Mandatory Credit: Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports “I’m a big Jay Cutler fan, but he has been a turnover machine. Fumbles, interceptions, you name it, he does it. Statistically he has been having the greatest year in his career if you don’t count the last game verses the Packers. But that seems to be all he can be. A stat monster. Stats don’t win you games. Touchdowns do. And when the defense is giving up 50 points a game, what are you supposed to do? The Bears are in shambles. But you did ask how fans are reacting to Cutler’s poor performance. Let’s just say that most fans want him benched, but why? Is Jimmy Clausen going to do better? I don’t think so. And for those who didn’t want the Bears to sign Cutler, just tell me who was available who was better?” – Michael Praser"
I actually agree with Michael. Cutler is a good quarterback who I just feel is overpaid. Sadly, he’s also wildly inconsistent. When Cutler is having a good day, he looks like one of the NFL’s elite passers. But when he’s bad, he’s terrible. His recent stretch as a turnover machine just makes me wonder when this trend will stop. Hopefully it isn’t Sunday against the Vikings.
