2015 Base Salary:  $4.15 million

2015 Salary Cap Hit:  $5.45 million

Guaranteed:  $3 million

Defensive end Brian Robison really seemed to struggle to bring down quarterbacks during the 2014 season for the Minnesota Vikings.  He only had 4.5 sacks on the season after having 8 or more the previous three years.

However, his veteran status could make him a valuable player.  Since he dealt with several injuries last season to his ankle, glutes, and other various body parts, that could have had a major impact on his effectiveness.

Considering his guaranteed money compared to his cap hit, Brian Robison should have at least one more season to redeem himself.  Playing opposite breakout player Everson Griffen is a great thing for Robison, who found himself the focus of defenses after pass rush expert and current Chicago Bears defensive end Jared Allen left in free agency.
