A Bittersweet Goodbye

Hello everyone! Unlike my previous posts, this one has nothing to do with football. If that disinterests you, it’s fine if you choose to stop reading. I just want to take this time to announce to the readers that I have recently taken a position with SB Nation’s the Daily Norseman, and sadly will no longer be contributing to The Viking Age. I would like to thank all of the readers and commenters who have kept up with my work over the last few years. Your guys support was and still is greatly appreciated.

For the last few years (With the exception of a few breaks) I have done my best to bring you guys the best scouting reports, analysis, and articles on the web. I just hope that the readers enjoyed reading them as much as I enjoyed crafting them. I’d also like to thank all the consistent commenters such as Bob T., Jeeves, VoiceOfReason, MikeH123, Bob E., First and Skol, Todd Robinson, jacknine, Turdd Ferguson and anyone else I may have forgotten. You guys made the comment section of my articles interesting, and I looked forward to hearing each of your opinions each time I posted. I hope that I may see your guys comments on my posts with the Daily Norseman. Thank you all again.

I’d also like to give a big thanks to Dan Zinski and Adam Carlson. Dan- Thank you for bringing me aboard The Viking Age a few years ago. Without your interest, I never would have been able to reach where I am now. I hope that I was able to reach the expectations that you had for me when you brought me aboard. Adam- Thank you for being a great friend throughout this whole process and for all the good conversations we’ve had. I’m sure we will keep in touch.

I will always have the utmost respect for The Viking Age. I greatly enjoyed my time here and while this will be my final post for TVA, I hope that many of you will continue to keep up with my work. You can follow me on twitter @jackmack28. Thank you all again!
