The Confusing

  1. Why do the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still use such a conservative defensive scheme?  We watched the cover 2 for the Minnesota Vikings for WAY too long.  After seeing it failing dismally for so long, why would some team still want to employ this as their base defense?  I know some players and coaches are set in their ways and love the past, and this scheme is effective in some situations, but c’mon Tampa Bay…get with the times!
  2. Who is telling Paul Allen to do all these horrible puns?  I’m not a stand up comedian.  I admit that.  I tell jokes and realize that they’re not funny.  PA can do some great play by play, but leave the jokes to the professionals.  That “Melton” joke went on FAR too long and trying to alliterate terms for quarterbacks with the clock running down was brutal.
  3. Our Vikings/Bengals/Eagles/Steelers/Cowboys family. If a Vikings fan can seriously eat a sandwich and become a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, then they weren’t that big of a fan.  Just saying.  NFL Shop is appealing to bandwagon fans all across the world and using Minnesota as the jumping off point.  Not cool, NFL Shop!
