- Position battles getting cloudier, not clearer. Chase Ford made another great effort today to show that he shouldn’t be counted out of the tight end battle. Zac Kerin looked like a capable backup center, making us wonder if he’s worth a roster spot even though Joe Berger can fill in at that spot. And who knows what is going on at safety and linebacker? I guess there are worse problems to have than too much talent, but it’s just hard to narrow down at this point.
- What’s happening with Captain Munnerlyn? We’ve been seeing him moving down the units. This week, he played with the 3rd and 4th team. Was this just to give better looks at some younger guys, or is this a sign that things aren’t going the way the Minnesota Vikings wished they would when they signed the former Panthers cornerback?
- Didn’t the weather know that there was a MINNESOTA VIKINGS game going on? Mother Nature decided to hand down some lightning and rain? She knew the Vikings had to play outside today, no need to make all those folks sad. At least we didn’t have to sit through halftime following that 66 minute delay, right?
