The San Diego Chargers came into TCF Bank Stadium to take on the Minnesota Vikings during week 3 of the NFL season.  Both teams needed this game to win.  The Chargers and the Vikings were both sitting at 1-1 and were looking to make a move for power in their division.

This game was billed as Philip Rivers vs Adrian Peterson.  That was a rightful play as Rivers led the NFL in completion percentage coming into this game and Adrian Peterson is a former NFL MVP coming off a great game.  However, other guys like Keenan Allen, Teddy Bridgewater and Melvin Gordon were also predicted to make a big impact in the game.

Minnesota’s current offensive coordinator used to be the Chargers’ head coach, so there will be some ties between the two teams.  However, those ties didn’t result in a friendly game.  Instead, we saw a physical battle between two hungry teams that ended in a 31-14 victory by the Minnesota Vikings.

During the game, there were good things, bad things, and some confusing things that happened during the game.  Let’s start out by talking about the good stuff!
