The San Diego Chargers came into TCF Bank Stadium to take on the Minnesota Vikings during week 3 of the NFL season. Both teams needed this game to win. The Chargers and the Vikings were both sitting at 1-1 and were looking to make a move for power in their division.
This game was billed as Philip Rivers vs Adrian Peterson. That was a rightful play as Rivers led the NFL in completion percentage coming into this game and Adrian Peterson is a former NFL MVP coming off a great game.
