For week 4 of the NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings traveled to Colorado to take on the Denver Broncos in what would be the final game before the boys in purple take their bye week.  Although the Vikings came up on the losing end of the stick 23-20, this difficult test gave fans a lot to think about.

Not only did Minnesota want to go into the break with some momentum, but they’re also hoping to stay close in the NFC North division race with the Green Bay Packers, who are currently undefeated after their meeting with the San Francisco 49ers.  Minnesota will need to play their best football going forward to even stay relevant in the division.

Meanwhile, Denver was undefeated and rolling behind the #1 defense in the NFL.  Sure, they also have a future Hall of Fame quarterback in Peyton Manning and two of the best wide receivers in the league, but the real reason why the Broncos are successful is their amazing defense.  Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware might just be the best pass rush duo in the NFL and that makes things easier on what could be the best cornerback pairing in the league.

This game was very important to both teams going forward and that was reflected by the play on the field.  During the game, there were good things, bad things, and interesting things that happened during the game. Let’s start out by talking about the good stuff!
