Offensive MVP Award

Adrian Peterson

There really isn’t anybody else that can be considered for this award. Peterson has been the driving force for the offense the entire season as quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has endured some struggles. Through four games, Peterson has registered a stat line of 75 carries for 372 yards (5.0 yards per carry) and three touchdowns, while also catching nine passes for 92 yards. Also, when you can bust off runs like the one below at anytime, it’s a serious threat to the defense.

Or, there’s this one (which was actually made possible by a huge hole created by the offensive line, but still).

It’s not like Peterson can’t make any improvements, though. His pass protection has been mediocre at best this season, and it forces me to believe that he should be off the field in passing situations. It seems like a lost cause now, but if he could improve his pass protection abilities, he’ll be even more valuable to this team than he already is.
