The Minnesota Vikings traveled to Michigan to take on the Detroit Lions in a divisional matchup that ended with the boys in purple getting a win 28-19.

This was a huge game for both teams, as the Minnesota Vikings struggled to win on the road, particularly in division games and are hoping to stay relevant in the NFL’s playoff picture.  Meanwhile, the Lions were coming off their first win following an 0-5 start and were hoping to salvage their season.

The most important part of this game was the impact on the NFC North, as these two teams had already met once this season with the Minnesota Vikings getting the better of Detroit.  However, as we know, things can be very different on the road and you can never rely on records when talking about division rivals.

There were some good things, some bad things, and some downright confusing things that happened during the game between the Vikings and Lions.  Let’s start with the good things!
