The Interesting

  1. Why is Cordarrelle Patterson active?  If they’re keeping him on purely as a kick return specialist, then it’s not worth it.  He’s been average at best with returns and has been almost completely eliminated from the passing game.  I just don’t understand his role on gameday despite all his physical ability.
  2. That Ford Transit is one ugly van.  I understand that the purpose of a van is to move stuff, and that’s the focus of the commercial.  They’re not supposed to be stylish or pretty.  However, it seems like Ford has gone out of their way to create some of the worst looking vehicles I’ve ever seen in my life…and I used to watch The Red Green Show.
  3. Thank you, Eric Ebron.  I’ll admit that I was one of Ebron’s biggest critics coming out of college.  And I chuckled when the Lions used their #10 overall pick on him in the 2014 draft.  But I like him now that he stepped out of bounds to let the Vikings save a time out near the end of the first half.  Good stuff!
  4. Why let up the pressure?  I hate prevent defense.  I hate taking a safety.  I hate giving opposing teams any kind of momentum or advantage, even if they’re behind.  I want that killer instinct.  I want Minnesota to put games away.  And I just don’t see that fire from this team right now.
