The Minnesota Vikings hit the road to visit the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field today in a contest that found the visitors ending up victorious 23-20.

This game was very important to both teams.  The Bears were hoping to get their season back on track with a win and hopefully become relevant in the NFC North and playoff picture.  Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings were on a two game winning streak looking to win another tough division road game in a location they haven’t won in since 2007.

Head coach Mike Zimmer knew of the team’s recent struggles in Chicago as well as the importance of a division win and spent all week preparing his players for this game.  A win here would put the Vikings at 5-2 on the season while the 6-0 Green Bay Packers are taking on the undefeated Denver Broncos.  Because of that, this is an important week in the NFC North.

There were some good things, some bad things, and some downright confusing things during the game.  Let’s talk about all three, but start with the good stuff!
