The Minnesota Vikings hosted a battle against the St. Louis Rams today that not only came down to the wire, but had plenty of controversial moments.  Although Minnesota won the game 21-18 in overtime, there were many things about this game which we will be talking about for a long, long time.

Minnesota entered this game hoping to continue their dominance at home.  In addition, they needed to get a win over a team with a winning record to help prove that they’re the real deal.  Meanwhile, the Rams are finding their offensive groove with Todd Gurley and Tavon Austin to add to one of the toughest defensive fronts in professional football today.

I’ll be honest, I had to step away from writing this article a couple of times because I was so fired up about this game.  Not only did I need time to calm my nerves, but I also needed my blood to stop boiling.  Those who follow me on Twitter know exactly what I’m talking about.

But there were some good things, some bad things, and some things that were just interesting or confusing.  Let’s start things off by talking about the good stuff!
