Minnesota Vikings fans got some good news today, as it was announced that quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is expected to start against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.

During last week’s game against the St. Louis Rams, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater took a nasty hit during a slide that caused his head to bounce off the turf of TCF Bank Stadium.  The controversial play by Lamarcus Joyner concussed Bridgewater and put his status for Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders in jeopardy.

But there was some good news today, as it is expected that Bridgewater will be available for the game and get the starting nod according to FOX Sports North.

Teddy Bridgewater isn’t the only one that had their status for Sunday’s contest up in the air.  Linebackers Anthony Barr and Eric Kendricks were also struggling with injuries,.  However, it appears likely that Barr will play, as he was a full participant in Friday’s practice, as he is currently listed as “Questionable” for the game.

Things aren’t as optimistic for Kendricks, who is listed as “Doubtful” on the Vikings final injury report, but head coach Mike Zimmer has said he expects him to play.

The Minnesota Vikings will need all the help that they can get when they take on the Oakland Raiders.  This team is no longer the joke of the NFL, as they have an established and dangerous offense combined with defense that can get takeaways.

You can watch the game between the Vikings and the Raiders on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 3:15 pm central time.  Check your local listings to see if the game is available in your area.
