The Minnesota Vikings took on Derek Carr and the up and coming Oakland Raiders in a week 10 game during the 2015 NFL season. Here’s the good, bad, and odd.

The Minnesota Vikings entered another game as underdogs.  This time, the betting line had the team 2.5 points behind the surging Oakland Raiders.  However, the Vikings didn’t pay attention to that, the knock that they struggle to win on the road, or even the people who doubt that the team can beat tough competition.

Minnesota defeated Oakland Raiders 30-14.

This was a very important game for the Minnesota Vikings.  They were on top of the NFC North by virtue of division wins, but needed to establish themselves as real contenders in the division.  The always tough Green Bay Packers are on the schedule for next week, and the Vikings need as much momentum as possible, as they had won four straight games and three straight in the division before today.

Billed as Teddy Bridgewater vs Derek Carr, this game was so much more than that.  It was two young teams clashing in a battle to see how well each squad has rebuilt their team and developed their systems.  This game had something for everyone: big runs, big passes, great defense, big hits and amazing special teams plays.

Among those things, there were some good, bad and interesting stuff that happened.  Let’s start by talking about the good stuff!
