Minnesota is giving up the 2nd fewest points per game and have one of the most stout defenses in the NFL. How should the Green Bay Packers plan to attack the Vikings? And with their current struggles, what is the likelihood that they can execute that plan?
"“They have to establish a running game early and stick with it. One knock on Tom Clements is the fact he will abandon the running game early and not even attempt going back to it later. Green Bay used to be the premiere team in the NFL of running by way of the pass, which they have also abandoned. The screen game has to be a priority. Aaron Rodgers has to start trusting his guys and put a few passes in tight places that he might not normally attempt. I would love to see a couple of vertical attempts to Jeff Janis on Sunday as well. As far as the likelihood they can execute it? My confidence level is lower than it has been for a long time.”"
Teddy Bridgewater is in the middle of an up and down season, putting up small numbers but still finding ways to help his team to a 7-2 record. Is there anything about his game that should have the Green Bay Packers fans concerned, or is he “just another guy”?
"“Green Bay has a knack for making every quarterback look like Tom Brady this year. Bridgewater is a smart quarterback who generally doesn’t do a whole lot that would lose the ballgame for his team. As far as him personally, I don’t think he is a feared quarterback to see on the other side of the ball. The Packers went from one of the best teams in the league at getting to the quarterback, to one of the worst in their last three games. They have to get to Bridgewater on Sunday or he will make them pay if he is comfortable in the pocket.”"
