The Interesting

  1.  My hate for Joe Buck and Troy Aikman as announcers is intense. Usually, I’m really happy when the Minnesota Vikings don’t have high-profile games. However, I really despise when Joe Buck and Troy Aikman call the game. Their commentary always seems so biased and uninformative.
  2. Nobody can stop the squirrel! I love squirrels as much as the next guy, but I don’t think we need to watch it run in slow motion as the game goes to commercial break. That said, it’s still pretty awesome to see the furry little four-legger running around on the football field.
  3. Enough with the “Eddie Lacy is fat” stuff. Fans on social media were working hard to cut down the Packers running back, but it’s gotten out of hand. Yes, he has gained weight, but he’s already lost playing time and gotten a lot of flak from the media. Being a fat guy myself, I guess I just don’t get the insult.
  4. Roger Goodell wanted to watch this game. I don’t know much about the games that the NFL commissioner chooses to attend. Maybe he attends all of the games in the “America’s Game” series, but he’s not exactly a very well liked guy around the league, and especially not with Vikings fans. Still, it should be sort of an honor for him to visit the cold TCF Bank Stadium.
  5. Hearing TCF Bank Stadium chant “Go Pack Go” and “Kuhn” was sickening. As a Vikings fan, you never want to hear your opponents chants when you’re the home team. When I can hear them through my television when I’m already sick to my stomach from listening to Joe Buck and watching the Vikings perform so poorly, it just adds an extra level of frustration.
  6. I bet those “Beat Green Bay” shirts seem really stupid now.  Never do that again, Zimmer.  Never.
