The Vikings got solid efforts out of defensive linemen Linval Joseph, Sharrif Floyd and Danielle Hunter against Eddie Lacy and the Packers’ run game.

The one guy who noticeably did not step up in that department was Everson Griffen.

Griffen also did not have a particularly good day rushing the passer. He did have one sack but finished with only two total pressures.

By comparison, Brian Robison and Tom Johnson had four pressures each. Linval Joseph had three.

On a day when the Vikings needed Griffen to step it up and play like the Pro Bowler some people think he can be, he went the other direction.

Rookie Hunter frankly outplayed Griffen yesterday.
