The Interesting
- The music choices. Every time I hear “Jungle Love“, I get up and dance to it. Plus, hearing “Get Back” by Ludacris helps bring me back to the days of partying out at my friends’ hunting camps on weekends. Usually, I don’t know the songs that are played on these shows, but some of them had me happy.
- Adrian Peterson passed O.J. Simpson, Corey Dillon and John Riggins on the all-time rushing leader list. Peterson is now #18 on the all list, with several more years ahead of him to play football. Makes me wonder just how far up the list he can go before he hangs up his cleats for good.
- The “Teddy Bridgewater paradox”. Fans get on him to take more chances and let receivers make plays. Yet, when he does and it results in a turnover, fans on social media go nuts talking about how he sucks and makes bad decisions. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. (whatever that saying means)
- Running up the gut on 3rd and 5 with Matt Asiata. I hate that call. Not only are you not playing for a touchdown, but you aren’t even playing for a first down. To me, that felt like a “give up” type play admitting that getting in the end zone wasn’t likely. Instead, let’s see a play for the first down!
- Did the squirrel not make the plane? I have to admit, I enjoyed watching that squirrel run around TCF Bank Stadium during the game against the Packers. I know Atlanta plays in the dome, but there should be more wildlife in football. Get some deer, zebra, hippos, giraffes…anything. Seriously though, I liked the squirrel.
