NFL.com’s Adam Schein made his list of the top 10 teams most likely to win the Super Bowl, and the Minnesota Vikings owned the number four spot on that list.
Since we’re entering week 13 of the NFL season, talk of the playoffs is heating up. Not only are teams jockeying for position, but media outlets are trying to put together their lists and scenarios of how things will break down in the final stretch of 2015.
Recently, NFL.com’s Adam Schein wrote an article that broke down his choices for teams that are most likely to win the Super Bowl this season. Included on the list where the normal teams that are having great seasons, placing the New England Patriots and undefeated Carolina Panthers at the top of the list. However, one of the surprises on the list was the team that was placed in the number four spot: the Minnesota Vikings.
Here is what Schein had to say about the Vikings:
"“I wrote about the Vikings’ immense promise back in June, comparing them to the Golden State Warriors as an up-and-coming bunch that oozes youth and likeability. I thought they’d add sizzle and spice to the league in 2015. Well, here they are at 8-3, sitting atop the NFC North. And they have the makeup to do damage in January.”"

The youth of the Minnesota Vikings has some people very surprised that they’re making noise in the NFC. Much of the time, an inexperienced team needs time to develop and grow together before they are considered contenders, but the Vikings have ditched that trend and shown that winning through great defense and a powerful run game can still be a winning strategy in a pass-happy NFL.
For those curious about the top 5, here is Adam Schein’s list:
- New England Patriots
- Carolina Panthers
- Arizona Cardinals
- Minnesota Vikings
- Green Bay Packers
