Adrian Peterson named FedEx Ground Player of the Week

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was named the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for his week 12 performance during the Atlanta Falcons game.
Going into Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, people weren’t sure what to expect from Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson. Atlanta had the #1 rush defense and Minnesota would need to work hard in order to beat this tough defensive front.
However, things went better than planned for the Vikings, as Peterson ended up having an excellent game. In fact, his performance was so good that he was voted the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for week 12.

As fans of the Minnesota Vikings, we have learned never to count the former NFL MVP out of anything. However, very few people could have predicted his dominating performance against Atlanta. In fact, after facing Adrian Peterson, the Falcons run defense dropped from #1 to #10 in rushing yards allowed per game.
