Linval Joseph inactive for Vikings vs. Bears

Linval Joseph is inactive for the Vikings as they take on the Bears, but Everson Griffen is active.
There was hope that Linval Joseph could get on the field today for the Vikings against the Bears but those hopes have now been dashed.
Inactives for the Vikings have been announced and the defensive tackle is on the bench for this afternoon.
This will be the third straight game Joseph has missed since injuring his foot. Sharrif Floyd starts at nose tackle in his place.
Joseph was able to get in some practice work during the week but on Friday it was announced that he would be a game-time decision.
The Vikings previously announced that Harrison Smith and Anthony Barr are also out for this game. Charles Johnson was also ruled out early with an ankle injury.
Anthony Harris is expected to start at safety alongside Andrew Sendejo. Edmond Robinson is expected to start at linebacker.
DE Everson Griffen is active after missing practice time this week with an injured shoulder.
WR Alshon Jeffery had been listed as questionable for the Bears but he is active. The Bears in actives are as follows:
The Vikings are 2 point favorites over the Bears this afternoon at home.
Minnesota can clinch a playoff spot today with a win and some losses by other contending teams in the NFC.
