The Interesting

  1. Playing O.P.P. on Fox.  I know, it’s a different generation…but there was a time when that song was highly controversial. Now it’s played to lead a football game into halftime? Oh well, maybe we can use those letters to somehow relate to football instead of what is actually means.
  2. Pam? Pam? Are you there, Pam?  I love when live TV doesn’t work out as planned. It is those kind of things that help make them memorable. It’s like watching Saturday Night Live when everyone laughs about  breaking character. Things are funny when they don’t go as they should.
  3. Stupid Jaguars.  If Jacksonville could have beat the horrible Falcons, Minnesota would have locked up a playoff spot. However, you can’t count on Jacksonville to do anything right. Unless Cleveland can beat Seattle today, the odds of Minnesota clinching a spot this week is low.
  4. Where are all the doubters?  All the folks talking about how Teddy can’t have big games have quieted after back to back massive performances by Bridgewater. I’m sure they’ll be back as soon as the young quarterback makes more mistakes, but for now it’s nice to see Teddy stepping up to play.
