19. Roy Winston
Winston gave the Vikings sixteen years at linebacker, starting in 1962 when they drafted him 45th overall out of LSU.
Roy never made a Pro Bowl but was a solid, dependable player for a decade-and-a-half, finishing his career with 191 games played, second-most on the Vikings among linebackers behind only Scott Studwell.
Tackles weren’t counted back in Winston’s day but interceptions were and he finished his career with twelve of them.
Roy played in fourteen postseason games for the Vikings including all four Super Bowls.
