The New York Giants came into Sunday Night Football against the Minnesota Vikings without their star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and without having a chance at playing in the postseason. However, the fate of the team’s coaching staff may hang in the balance if the boys in blue can’t win a couple more games to prove they’re a competent team.

Meanwhile, this game was even bigger for the Minnesota Vikings. A win against the Giants would give them a playoff berth after sitting at home the previous two years. It would also be momentum heading into week 17, when the Vikings would travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers in a game that will decide the NFC North crown.

With the Giants playing for their coach and the Vikings playing for the postseason, this is a game that had the potential to get nasty very quickly. The final score of the contest was 49-17 in favor of the Minnesota Vikings.

During the game, there was some good stuff, some bad things, and some events that were interesting. Let’s start by talking about the good stuff.
